We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was a good size, clean, and had a big window with a glass door that opened onto a charming balcony with a chair. The beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The shower room and toilet were recently refurbished to a high standard, with a spacious glass shower cubicle and a two-headed shower. The sink, mirror, and radiator were impressive, adding a touch of elegance to the room. The hotel staff, especially the receptionist/bar girl/waitress, were incredibly pleasant and helpful. The hotel's bar and restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and the soups were delicious. We also enjoyed the good portions of food served, especially the breakfast with plenty of options. Additionally, the hotel offered safe parking for bikes, which was great for bikers like us.
Hard to think of anything negative.

Great for bikers! Safe parking for the motorcycle, and the hotel is in a good and quiet location. The room was comfortable and clean with an impressive shower cubicle. The receptionist/bar girl/waitress was pleasant, and the soups were delightful. Breakfast was well-priced and had plenty of food options, including gherkins!
The language barrier was an issue, as no one spoke English, and my German is weak. , the locked front door at night was not made clear, and I couldn't figure out how to get in at first.

the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. the bathroom had a big glass shower cubicle and impressive sink with plenty of hot water and toiletries provided. the downstairs bar and restaurant were both an excellent value for money, with a good selection of food and drink. I loved the little balcony with a chair that was perfect for a morning coffee while enjoying the green view of the surrounding area. an enjoyable stay.
The communication barrier, as the staff didn't speak English and it was difficult to communicate, but we managed to get by.

The location was good for exploring the area by car. the room itself was clean and comfortable enough.
The language barrier was a major issue. I couldn't communicate with the staff at all, and the lack of English-speaking employees made my xmas stay a bit frustrating.

Nothing, all excellent.
